Tailor Technologies, Inc. (“Tailor”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals with whom it interacts. This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect and process personal information when you visit our websites (e.g. tailor.tech, erp.dev), when you use our Tailor Cloud Products (our “Services”), or when you otherwise do business or make contact with us. Please read this policy carefully to understand how we handle and treat your personal information.
This Privacy Policy is intended to complement the
Tailor Cloud Subscription Agreement(hereinafter “the Subscription Agreement”). Unless otherwise defined herein, capitalized terms used in this Privacy Policy shall have the meanings set forth in the Subscription Agreement. Please read this policy carefully to understand how we handle and treat your personal information.
What information do we collect?
We might gather and handle your personal data as outlined in this Privacy Policy, for our own legitimate purposes or the legitimate purposes of third parties. The personal information we collect and process may include:
- Provided information: When you voluntarily share personal data while utilizing our website or services, we collect it. For instance, during registration for our services, we collect details such as your name, email address, password, organization information, and billing information. We also gather data you provide while engaging in any communication service on our platform, including your username, password, and any submitted content. Additionally, we collect personal data when you subscribe to our newsletter, register for an event, or complete a survey. If you make an inquiry through our website or contact us in any other manner, we will retain a copy of your correspondence with us.
- Business-related information: When engaging in business with us, for example as a customer, potential customer, vendor, supplier, consultant, or other third party, we might process your personal data. We may store your business contact information, financial account details (if applicable), and other communications with us for the purpose of maintaining our business relationship with you.
- Automatically collected information: When you access our website, we may collect specific technical data, which can sometimes be personal information, automatically. This includes IP address, browser type and operating system, referring URLs, your usage of our website, and other clickstream information. We gather this data automatically through various technologies, such as cookies and request headers.
- Information from Third-Party Services (Google API Data): When you connect your Google account to our Services, we may collect information as permitted by the OAuth scopes you authorize. Our use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Among the information received from Google, we only store your email address for account identification; other profile information, such as your name or profile picture, is not stored on our permanent database.
- Sensitive Personal Information: We do not intentionally collect or require any “sensitive personal information” (as defined under applicable laws, such as race, religion, health information, or precise geolocation) for your use of the Services. If you or your users choose to store such information within the Services as part of Customer Data, we will process it only as a service provider/processor to provide the Services and will not use or disclose it for any other purpose.
- Personal data processed as a data processor: In connection with the provision and support of our Services, we process personal information on behalf of our clients (as “Customer Data” defined in the Subscription Agreement). In these cases, we act as a data processor or service provider in accordance with our clients' instructions and the Data Processing Addendum (DPA) incorporated into the Subscription Agreement, while our clients serve as the data controllers.

What are the purposes for which we utilize your personal information?
We may use the personal data we collect from you for the following reasons:
- To address your inquiries and fulfill your requests
- To enable communication between you and other users of our website's communication service
- To establish and manage records related to any online account you create with us
- To supply information and access to resources you request from us
- To offer technical support, as your data assists us in better catering to your specific needs
- To enhance our website, including the navigation and content, based on your input and the information we gather
- For website administration, system maintenance, and security purposes. In accordance with the confidentiality obligations set forth in the Subscription Agreement, we treat your data as Confidential Information. To ensure the security of our Services, employee access to your personal information (including Google user data) is strictly prohibited except for necessary system maintenance, security investigations, or upon your explicit request for support.
- For general business operations, such as improving customer service, refining the content and functionality of our services, gaining insight into our user base, safeguarding against misconduct, enforcing our Terms of Service, and managing our overall business
- To process transactions and provide services to our clients and end-users
- For recruitment, in case you apply for a job with us
- To manage contests, promotions, surveys, or other features on our site
- To optimize advertising campaigns, primarily to prevent irrelevant targeting of impressions through third-party channels. The email address obtained from Google is used solely for user authentication and account identification. We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements.
- To send occasional emails, where the email address you provide during order processing is used to send updates and information about your order. In accordance with your marketing preferences, we may also send marketing emails about our products and services, from which you can unsubscribe at any time using the provided link in the message.
How do we protect your personal information?
We implement common industry-standard security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information. We offer the use of a secure server. All user data is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted for storage only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your private information (e.g., credit cards, social security numbers, financials) will not be stored on our servers.
Do we utilize cookies or other tracking methods?
Yes, cookies are small files transferred to your browser (if permitted) by a site or service provider, enabling their systems to recognize your browser and retain certain information.
Our website may contain Web beacons, or single-pixel gifs, which are electronic images. These let us count users who visit specific pages and provide co-branded services. We may include Web beacons in promotional emails or newsletters to count opened and acted-upon messages. Web beacons don't access your personal data but help compile aggregated statistics.
We use cookies to understand preferences, advertise on other sites (e.g., Google AdWords, Facebook), and gather aggregate data on site traffic and interactions for future improvements. You can refuse cookies by adjusting browser settings. Disabling cookies may limit access to parts of our site. A banner requesting cookie policy acceptance appears upon first site visit (or after cookie deletion). Unless cookies are refused, our system will issue them when you log onto our site.
Disabling HTML images in your email program may deactivate Web beacons, potentially affecting other email images.

Our websites may feature social media tools, like the Facebook “like” button, and widgets, such as the “share this” button. Tool providers, third-party social media services, and/or we may receive your information. By using these tools or engaging with us on social media, you acknowledge your information may be transmitted to us and third-party services.
When interacting on social media, only information privately shared with us is covered by this Privacy Policy. Publicly visible information is not covered by this Privacy Policy.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We will only share your personal information with third parties in certain circumstances such as:
- Any personal information you may make available in the communications services on our websites or in communications with us in publicly viewable areas of social media platforms is public by design. Do not share any personal information in those services that you do not want to be made public.
- We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to us, including as Sub-processors in accordance with the Subscription Agreement. These include cloud hosting services (e.g., Google Cloud), off-site backups, email service providers, live chat vendors, data analysis vendors, and customer support providers.
- We will only share your personal information with Sub-processors to the extent necessary to perform these functions, in accordance with the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy and applicable laws. As set forth in the Subscription Agreement, we remain fully liable for the acts and omissions of our Sub-processors as if they were our own, and we ensure that such Sub-processors are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations at least as protective as those in the Subscription Agreement.
- In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution, or similar event, your personal information may be sold, disposed of, transferred, or otherwise disclosed as part of that transaction.
- We may also disclose information about you to third parties where we believe it necessary or appropriate under law, for example: (1) to protect or defend rights, legitimate interests, or property belonging to us or third parties (for example, to enforce our Terms of Service); (2) to respond to valid legal process or lawful requests from public or government authorities, including for national security and law enforcement purposes; or (3) to prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Services or to maintain the security of our Services.
- We may use and share aggregated non-personal information with third parties for marketing, advertising, and analytics purposes.
We do not sell or trade your personal information to third parties.
Third Party Links
Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. If you access other websites using the links provided, the operators of these websites may collect information from you that will be used by them in accordance with their privacy policies. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We, therefore, have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.
Do Not Track
We do not respond to the Do Not Track setting in your browser. While we do not use cookies to collect personally identifiable information or track users' online activities over time or across different web sites, certain of the third party tracking providers we use (e.g., Google, Facebook) may be able to do so, though we do not have access to that information. International Transfers
If you are visiting our website or using our Services from outside the United States (U.S.), please be aware that you are sending personal information to the U.S. where our servers are located. The U.S. may not have data protection laws that are as comprehensive or protective as those in your country of residence. However, our collection, storage, and processing of your personal information will at all times be in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Privacy Laws, California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA) and Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information (APPI)
Under the applicable laws in certain jurisdictions, you may have certain rights concerning your personal information, such as under European Union, Canadian, or California law.
For users in Japan: We comply with the APPI. When transferring personal data to Sub-processors in the United States, we take necessary measures to ensure adequate data protection. You have the right to request access, correction, or cessation of use of your personal data under the APPI by contacting us at the address below.
For California Residents (CCPA): In the past 12 months, we have collected Identifiers, Commercial Information, and Internet Activity. You have the right to request access and deletion. We do not “sell” or “share” your personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted under the CCPA.
You may choose to exercise these rights by sending a written request to the contact email address provided below. In some cases, these access rights may not apply, if the requests are unreasonably burdensome or expensive. We may request specific personal information in order to confirm your identity and protect our other customers, prior to addressing any requests under this section.
If you are a resident in the European Union, you also have the right to at no cost to lodge a complaint with European Union data protection authorities. This right may also exist in other countries. Lawful Basis for Processing
To the extent applicable laws in certain jurisdictions require us to state the lawful basis for our processing of your personal information:
- That lawful basis for processing is generally the legitimate interest listed above under the heading “What are the legitimate interests for which we use your information?”
- Specifically with respect to marketing communications, we typically rely on your express or implied consent, where consent is implied by your providing us with your contact information in a context in which it is reasonable for us to assume implied consent to receiving marketing communications relevant to that context. For example, if you purchase or inquire about our Services, we may provide marketing communications to you related to the Services and similar or related offerings.
Your Choices
You may have the right to request restriction of or object to processing of your personal information, including the right to opt in or opt out of the sale of your personal information to third parties, if applicable, where such requests are permitted by law. You can opt out of most communications from us by clicking the opt-out link in emails or by referring to the “Contacting Us” section below. However, as long as you have an account with us, we will need to send you certain administrative communications, so you can't opt out of receiving those communications.
Data Retention and Deletion
We may retain your personal information as long as you continue to use the Services, have an account with us, or for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy.
Where we process personal information as a controller (for example, in connection with our websites, marketing, or business communications), you may request deletion by contacting us as described in the “Contacting Us” section below. Where we process personal information on behalf of our clients as part of Customer Data, deletion and return of such data are governed by the Subscription Agreement and the Data Processing Addendum (DPA), and upon termination of the Subscription Agreement, we will, at the customer's request, delete or return such personal information in accordance with the Subscription Agreement and applicable law.
When you request that we delete your account, your personal information will be permanently expunged from our primary production servers and further access to your account will not be possible. However, portions of your data, consisting of aggregate and de-identified data derived in part from your personal information, may remain on our production servers indefinitely, and such data is not used to identify any individual and we do not attempt to re-identify it. Your personal information may also remain on a backup server or media until we overwrite it or delete it according to our standard practices. We keep these backups to ensure our continued ability to provide the Services in the event of malfunction or damage to our primary production servers.
We may, however, retain personal information for an additional period as is required under applicable law or regulations, for prudent tax and accounting purposes consistent with good business practice, or for legal reasons, including as necessary to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
Changes to our Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices. If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, you will be notified via email (if you have an account where we have your contact information) or otherwise in some manner through the Service that we deem reasonably likely to reach you (which may include posting a new privacy policy on our website—or a specific announcement on this page or on our blog). Any modifications to this Privacy Policy will be effective upon our posting of the new terms and/or upon implementation of the new changes on the Service (or as otherwise indicated at the time of posting) or on the Effective Date set forth in the modified Privacy Policy.
